Ball valve ball structure
The structure of the stainless steel ball is determined by the connection between the valve body and the pipe, and the valve body and the valve cover. In terms of manufacturing methods, there are casting, forging, forge welding, cast welding and tube-sheet welding. Generally, from the perspective of economy, casting is used if the nominal diameter is equal to or greater than 50mm, and forging is used if the nominal diameter is less than 50mm. However, with the development of modern casting and forging technology, this limitation has been gradually broken through.

Forged valve bodies have developed towards large diameters, while cast valve bodies have gradually developed towards small diameters; any valve body can be either forged or cast, and should be determined according to user requirements and the manufacturing means owned by the manufacturer. Tube-sheet welded valve bodies are usually used in large diameter medium and low pressure applications.
